Genesis

K.V. RAIGARH came into existence in 1997 to meet the educational needs of the children. It was a humble start with ten rooms. Presently, it sprawls over 19 acres with KVS buildings in a rectangle shape. The school has not seen back since its inception and flourished strength to strength since then. The new school building came up in year 2007. The overwhelming response from the people of the area prompted the opening of secondary in 2003 and Senior Secondary 2005. Till then KV, RAIGARH is running with mission of KVS.

To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and to develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among children.
